This week, I was lucky enough to get new equipment in my hands! To celebrate, my family and I took a walk by the creek with this new full frame DSLR in hand. The mosquitoes were terrible, and the summer heat is still lingering around the DC area, but I enjoyed getting outside with my favorite little explorer.
This last picture was an unexpected treat. My sister asked to take a few shots with my new camera, and she caught this puzzled expression Lyra and I shared. I had been cleaning or driving around all day, desperately in need of a shower and some bug spray. Still, I cherish this picture for the eyebrows we share.
